Valentin Lang is a senior researcher at the Chair for International Relations and Political Economy at the University of Zurich and is currently finishing his Ph.D. in Economics at Heidelberg University. He holds a Master’s degree from the University of Cambridge, a Bachelor’s degree from Heidelberg University, and also studied at the University of Mannheim and Sciences Po Paris. Outside academia, he worked as a consultant for the IMF (International Monetary Fund) and the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) for projects in the field of development economics. His current research projects focus on globalisation, inequality, and the role of international organisations for global economic governance.
