Bhaskar Pant is a Chevening Scholar and MSc Public Policy and Administration candidate at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He co-founded Policy Monks, a public policy consulting firm, advising MNCs on regulatory issues, policy and regulatory risk analysis and stakeholder advocacy.
Prior to this, he was a Consultant at the Rajasthan Rural Livelihoods Mission. Here, he led the agenda for introducing innovative ideas for interventions in farm and non-farm activities aimed at poverty reduction, employment generation and providing social security with focus on women Self-Help Groups.
Previously, he was Communications and Policy Aide to the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways. Here, he was engaged in advising the minister on policy issues, legislative research and maintaining relationships with media representatives, public officials, government agencies and other appropriate stakeholders.
Bhaskar is a Post Graduate in English Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi and holds a B.A. Honours in Journalism from University of Delhi.
