Kishan Narayan is a Ph.D. student at the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs, Northeastern University. He holds an M.A. in Applied Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University and a B.A. in Economics from Banaras Hindu University. His current research focuses on social stratification, labour outcomes, and the intersection of education, race, caste, class, and gender in economic development. He previously worked as a Research Fellow at the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy, collaborating with the NITI Aayog and Ministry of Finance, Government of India. He has also worked at Development Data Lab and the National Campaign for Anti-corruption and Human Rights, Nepal.
