Rajendra N. Paramanik is a faculty of Economics and Finance at the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna. He previously taught at BITS Pilani and also served as a visiting faculty at Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune. He completed his doctorate in International Economics from the University of Hyderabad in 2015. His recent research focuses on exploring the role of dissent in central bank communique and its implication on market expectation. He is a recipient of RBI faculty fellowship for the year 2022. He has worked on projects funded by Government of India and served as academic consultant at TCS.
