Ran Goldblatt received his PhD in Geography and the Human Environment from Tel-Aviv University, Israel. While in his M.A. studies he emphasized on aspects of cognitive geography and on the perception of built and 3D virtual environments, in his PhD studies he investigated the interrelation between the built environment and segregation of Arabs and Jews in Israeli mixed cities. Ran is a GIS analyst, and in his research integrates different spatial analysis techniques with advanced visualization methods. Ran is currently a research associate and a research fellow at the Center on Global Justice and at Blum`s Cross-Border initiative.
