Sourabh Bhattacharjee is a Prime Minister’s Rural Development Fellow (PMRDF) under the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) working in Purulia district, one of the Jungle Mahal districts of West Bengal. He has been engaged in extending professional assistance to the District Administration for effective planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the flagship programmes as envisaged by the District Magistrate & District Collector in Purulia.
Sourabh holds a B.Sc. degree with Honors in Mathematics, and a post graduate diploma in Rural Development (with distinction) from the Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi. Prior to PMRDF, he has worked with Development Support Agency of Gujarat, Tribal Development Department, Government of Gujarat as a Development Consultant. He has also worked with ITC Limited under its Corporate Social Responsibility head.
