Anjali Mariam Paul is currently completing her M.A. in Development Studies from Azim Premji University in Bangalore, Karnataka. She spent six weeks in summer of 2016 interning with C-NES (Centre for North East Studies) where she travelled with the boat clinics, coming face to face with the adversities faced by the riverine islanders in Assam, which encouraged her to pursue an independent study on Assam's health system in her last semester.
