Erhan Artuc is a Senior Economist at the World Bank's Development Research Group. Prior to joining the World Bank in 2011, he was a faculty member at Koç University in Istanbul, Turkey. He received his undergraduate degree from Bilkent University, and Ph.D. in economics from University of Virginia. His most recent research focuses on international trade and migration policies and their effects on labour markets and development. His work was published in leading academic and policy journals such as Journal of International Economics, Economic Journal, and American Economic Review.
