Priya Ranjan

Priya Ranjan has been a Professor of Economics at the University of California, Irvine, since 2010. He is also a Fellow of the CESifo Network. He has a Ph.D. from Columbia University and a Master’s degree from the Delhi School of Economics. His key areas of interest are international economics and development economics.

He has held editorial positions at Indian Growth and Development Review (Co-Editor; 2014-present), Journal of Development Economics (Associate Editor; 2010-present), Journal of International Commerce, Economics, and Policy (Editorial Board; 2014-present), Economies (Editorial Board; 2012-present), Economics Research International (Editorial Board; 2010-2014) and The Open Demography Journal (Editorial Board; 2008-2014).

He has published in major journals such as the Economic Journal, European Economic Review, Journal Applied Econometrics, Journal of Development Economics and Journal of International Economics.
