Shalander Kumar

Shalander Kumar is an agricultural and development economist and the Deputy Global Research Program Director of the enabling systems transformation program at International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT). The focus of his work is on enablers, incentives, pathways, tools, and frameworks to support food systems transformation, climate smart and nutrition sensitive agricultural value chains, and policies relevant studies around seed systems, climate adaptation and mainstreaming millets into diets. Prior to ICRISAT, he has worked at Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
