Shantanu is a Ph.D. student at the University of California, Irvine. He has completed his M.Phil. and Masters in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics. He was previously an (ad-hoc) Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Delhi, and has worked as a short-term consultant on various projects with the World Bank. He has also worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a consultant in the Government Reforms and Infrastructure Development (GRID) practice. His research interests are in labour economics and applied econometrics.
