Dr Yogeshwar Bharat is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence. His research spans macroeconomics, banking, international trade, and the dynamics of emerging economies, with a particular interest in the empirical analysis of policy impact on firms. His recent work examines credit constraints, banking incentives, corporate taxation, and the macroeconomic effects of policy interventions in India. Prior to joining Shiv Nadar, he was Research Director at the Centre for Advanced Financial Research and Learning (CAFRAL), promoted by the Reserve Bank of India. Dr. Bharat holds a Ph.D. in Economics and an M.A. in Economics from Michigan State University, an M.S. in Quantitative Economics from the Indian Statistical Institute (Delhi), and a B.S. and M.S. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
