Rapid Response on institutional reform of minor irrigation department in conjunction with CEEW

The project was carried out on the request of Principal Secretary, Minor Water Resource Department (MWRD), Government of Bihar on how to reform the MWRD. The study used different parmeters to assess the overall targets and ways to improve participatory irrigation management. Organisational restructuring, better data for strategic management, monitoring performance were some of the important recommendations that were made based on the assessments.
