Ananish Chaudhuri is a Professor of Experimental Economics at the University of Auckland and served as the Chair of the Department of Economics from 2013 till 2019. He is the author of a number of critically acclaimed books including Nudged into lockdown? Behavioural Economics, Uncertainty and Covid-19, Behavioural Economics and Experiments, and Experiments in Economics: Playing Fair with Money, and has published numerous journal articles in leading journals. He currently serves as Senior Editor of Oxford Open Economics, a new open access journal from Oxford University Press.
