Harish Puppala is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at BML Munjal University, Gurugram. He earned a Masters of Engineering degree and PhD degree from BITS Pilani. His broad areas of research include Renewable Energy, Climate Change, Urban Planning and Applications of Geographic Information Systems. His research on geothermal energy has published in high impact-factor journals, and has been recognized, referred to, and reported by India Science Wire (Government of India, DST, Initiative for high impact research areas), TECH EXPLORIST, Global Geothermal News by Geothermal Resources Council. His findings in the area of Urban Planning have been presented at the Annual Meeting of Transportation Research Board (TRB), Washington DC.
