Jay Dev Dubey is a consultant at National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP). He has completed M.A. and M.Phil. degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). His interest area lies in economic modelling which includes theoretical as well as empirical research. He has extensive experience in handling large micro-datasets like the consumption expenditure survey, employment and unemployment surveys done by National Sample Survey Organization (NSSO) as well as Annual Survey of Industries (ASI), National Family Health Survey (NFHS), and District Information of School Education (DISE) in STATA environment. He had delivered lectures on the techniques of extracting and analysing these databases using STATA at JNU, IIM Kolkata, NIPFP, and in few collage seminars. In the past, he was associated with government, civil society organisations, and universities to assist them on their respective data work at professional level. Jay Dev is keen on a career that allows him to learn newer applications in domains of analysis that is useful to the organisations dedicated to academic research and policy analysis.
