Katja Bergonzoli (she/her) is an Economics Ph.D. candidate at HEC, University of Lausanne, Switzerland. She is currently visiting Stanford University (from January-June 2024). Her research focuses on political, conflict, and development economics. She is highly interested in questions related to gender and inequality. She is a member of Rare Voices in Economics, an association that works toward making the economics profession more inclusive and equitable.
