Pooja Sengupta is a Senior Research Associate at 3ie. She provides research, coordination and capacity building support for impacts of aquaculture on livelihoods, nutrition and women’s empowerment in Bangladesh evidence programme and the implementation research in nutrition project. Prior to joining 3ie, Pooja was a researcher for the Indian government’s National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj. She has provided technical expertise and capacity building assistance to state government officials and project implementation agencies.

Pooja has a Master’s in Geography from Jawaharlal Nehru University and a Master’s in Regional Planning from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.
