Md Shamshe Alam is a PhD Scholar in Economics at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT-Delhi. His research areas include development economics, migration, and labour economics. He holds a BA in Economics from the Aligarh Muslim University and an MA in Economics from Banaras Hindu University.
Ishan Kukreti is a freelance environment journalist and researcher. He is a master’s student at the School of Public Policy at IIT-Delhi and a Research Associate at the Bharati School of Public Policy, Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
