Xiang Fang is an economist with a research interest in the intersection of finance and macroeconomics, particularly in issues in the global economy. He is an Assistant Professor of finance at the University of Hong Kong.

​He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2019, MA in Economics from Tsinghua University in 2013, and BA in Economics from Fudan University in 2011.
