Sayan Banerjee is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The Deliberative Media Lab, part of Democracy Initiative at the University of Virginia. Previously, he was a Lecturer in Political Science at the University of Essex, Department of Government. He studies how intergroup relations, conflict, and misinformation on social media influence political behavior in South Asia.
