Tabassum Rahman is a Ph.D. student at the University of Newcastle. She is conducting her research on Indigenous Australian women’s smoking and quitting behaviour including smoking relapse during pregnancy and postpartum periods to inform culturally sensitive smoking cessation interventions for Indigenous Australian women. Tabassum has worked in the field of violence against women, with indigenous communities, and early childhood development in Bangladesh.
