Priyanka Singh is working as the Chief Executive of Seva Mandir from 1st April 2011. As Chief Executive, she is responsible for leading a team of almost 300 colleagues. Seva Mandir’s work extends to over 600 villages and the annual budget is close to Rs. 16 crores. Apart from raising the money, she is also responsible for the overall effectiveness of and coherence within Seva Mandir programs, and for representing Seva Mandir at various external forums.
She has worked at Seva Mandir for 15 years and before becoming the Chief Executive, she headed its Education and Health Program and one of its geographical locations. In both the program areas, she was closely involved with several pioneering research studies conducted in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
In addition to her responsibilities within Seva Mandir, Priyanka has undertaken evaluations of other organizations and participated in external studies and reviews.
She is also a member of the following boards
- Board Member of the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA) Governing Board Member of ARAVALI, a State level NGO set up by the Government to promote collaboration between the government and the voluntary sector
- Governing Board Member of Rejuvenate India Movement (RIM), a multi-State collaborative initiative of several NGOs to encourage voluntarism in the country.
- Working Committee Member of VANI (Voluntary Action Network of India)
