Alison is a Senior Research Economist at the Institute for Fiscal Studies, and a Ph.D. student at University College London (UCL). Alison’s research involves examining the origins of socioeconomic and gender inequalities, especially focusing on the role of early childhood, adolescence, and early adulthood in shaping later-life outcomes. She works primarily in low- and middle-income countries with a particular interest in South Asia.
