Anirban Kundu is an Assistant Professor at the Christ University Bengaluru, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics in the area of informal economy/labour in India and its interlinkages with the rest of the economy. He has written several research papers in journals such as Economic and Political Weekly, Journal of Economic Development, Journal of Economic Structures, Indian Journal of Labour Economics, Journal of Land and Rural Studies, Indian Journal of Agricultural Economics, among others. His research interests include the informal sector and macroeconomics, and policy analysis in relation to the informal sector in India, with a focus on industry-agriculture interlinkages.
