Bijeta Mohanty is the Programme Economist for the IGC India Programme. She did her MA in Globalisation, Business and Development from Institute of Development Studies (IDS), University of Sussex. Previously she has worked on a project that involved managing program implementation of a large scale RCT research study for an ed-tech program in Government Senior Secondary schools of Haryana.
Her postgraduate dissertation aimed to understand how grassroots innovations can be leveraged for wider diffusion. And this was studied by exploring the effort behind institutionalising these practices in India and the different enablers that create an enabling environment for grassroots innovations. She has a keen interest in exploring different aspects of Monitoring and Evaluations processes.
