James Berry is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Cornell University. His research addresses questions in development and labour economics, primarily through the use of field experiments. He has conducted several research projects in India examining education decisions of households with primary-aged children and is currently conducting several evaluations of primary schooling reforms. He also studies how poor households make decisions to purchase and use socially-marketed goods. Dr Berry holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
