Mallika Sinha is a Research Scholar at the Department of Economics, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. Her primary research interest lies in development economics with an emphasis on education, labor and health. Her PhD thesis focuses on the learning performance of children in India, specifically centered on regional disparity and unequal opportunities in learning. She completed her Bachelors in Economics from Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan in 2016 and Masters in Economics from University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad in 2018.
