Patrick Francois is a professor in the Vancouver School of Economics at the University of British Columbia, and a Senior Fellow of the Institutions, Organizations and Growth programme of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR). He is also a research fellow at the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), and Co-editor of Journal of Development Economics. His work focusses on problems in development economics, with a particular interest in political economy.
