Suresh Chand Aggarwal retired in 2017 as the Dean, Faculty of Applied Social Science and Humanities and Head, Department of Finance and Business Economics (earlier known as Business Economics), University of Delhi, South Campus. He is currently a Visiting Professor at  Institute for Human Development, Delhi.

He has guided a number of PhD and MPhil students, and has published four books and more than sixty papers in reputed national and international journals.
