Tim Dobermann is the Director of Research of the IGC. He has advised a number of governments in Asia and Africa on energy and public finance issues. His research focuses on the impacts of climate change on those in poverty and how energy sectors in developing countries can be made more effective. Previously, Tim worked at IGC as a Policy Economist for Bangladesh, Jordan, Myanmar, and Pakistan, as well as being Country Economist for IGC Myanmar. He holds a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics.
