Anahita Karandikar is a PhD candidate at the Vancouver School of Economics, University of British Columbia, and currently serves as a Director for Women in Econ/Policy, a non-profit working to make the field of Economics less gender-unequal. Her research interests lie in behavioural development economics, political economy and gender. She has previously been a Research Associate at the Behavioral Development Lab housed at JPAL South Asia.
Anahita has a master's degree in economics from Ashoka University and a bachelor's degree in economics from Fergusson College, Pune.
