Anmol Agarwal is a researcher at CAFRAL (Centre for Advanced Financial Research and Learning) in Mumbai, India. His research interests include macroeconomics, development economics, economics of education, and labor economics. He has worked on analysing the impact of fiscal federalism on economic growth, and understanding India’s export structure through methodological changes in Real Effective Exchange Rate (REER) calculation. His present research focuses on labor economics issues such as understanding the relation between women labor force participation with their education levels, and macroeconomics topics such as covered interest parity. Before joining CAFRAL, Anmol worked at the Department of Economic Policy and Research, Reserve Bank of India. He earned a master’s degree in economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a bachelor’s in economics from Hindu College, University of Delhi.
