Meenakshi Sinha is a doctoral candidate in international development at King’s India Institute, King’s College London. Prior to joining her Ph.D., she completed a master's in development studies at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS, Mumbai) and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Delhi. Her doctoral work examines land conflicts in India and related issues, particularly at a subnational level. Her research interests revolve around the questions of comparative political economy of states in India, changing relations of federalism, and how these factors influence resource distribution within and across states.
