Prakarsh Singh is Assistant Professor of Economics at Amherst College, Massachusetts. He completed his Ph.D. in Economics from the London School of Economics in 2011. He has an M.Res. and B.Sc. in Economics also from the London School of Economics. His areas of research are child malnutrition in India, impact of performance pay to public sector employees, and causes and consequences of civil conflict and terrorism. He has carried out three large-scale field experiments in India targeting child malnutrition. He is also a Visiting Fellow at Navarra Center for International Development, Spain where he teaches in the Summer School.
