Ravinder Kumar is Associate Professor of Monitoring and Impact at the Natural Resources Institute, University of Greenwich. Ravi’s research interest and expertise are in natural resource management. He has led and conducted numerous research, monitoring, and evaluation projects in sustainable forest management, agriculture value chains, poverty, livelihoods, ethical trade, responsible business investments, sustainability certification in agriculture commodities, and ocean plastic. Ravi is experienced in experimental (randomised controlled trial) and quasi-experimental methods. He has conducted a range of programme and impact evaluations, which includes large-scale, complex,multi-country statistical analysis and qualitative assessments. Ravi is currently leading a nutrition research facility (established by European Commission) for technical support on monitoring and evaluation to EU delegation programmes in multiple countries. He has led teams for the implementation of integrated water resources management and local economic development projects, focussing on agricultural value chains and commodity supply chains
