Sugata Bag is an Assistant Professor at the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, India since 2010. He has previously served at American Express as Business Analyst. His primary research interest lies in areas of Law and Economics, Development Economics, Contract Theory and Applied economics. He has authored a book titled “Economic Analysis of Contract Law: Incomplete Contracts and Asymmetric Information” (forthcoming from Palgrave Macmillan UK in December 2017). His doctoral thesis paper received the best paper award in ESNIE 2008. He obtained his Masters and Ph.D. degrees in economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, prior to which he obtained a B.A. (Honors) in economics from Calcutta University.
