Takashi Yamano is Principal Economist at Economic Research and Regional Development at Asian Development Bank (ADB). Prior to joining ADB in 2017, he worked at the International Rice Research Institute, the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies, Japan, and the World Bank. He obtained a joint Ph.D. in Economics and Agricultural Economics at Michigan State University in 2000.
