Pradeep Chhibber is Professor of Political Science and the Indo-American Community Chair in India Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. He writes on elections, voting, and political parties in India. His most recent research is on the role of ideology on the Indian party system, the relationship of religion and politics, and micro-level voting patterns in India.
