Vikas Dimble is a Country Economist at the IGC India Central Country Programme. Prior to that, he worked as a Research Associate at the Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), research centre of the Economics Department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He has also worked at Institute for Social and Economic Change, Bangalore and at Institute for Community Ethnicity and Policy Alternative (ICEPA), Victoria University, Melbourne. Vikas completed his Masters from Institute of Development Studies (IDS), at University of Sussex and his undergraduate degree from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai and School of Social Sciences and Psychology, Victoria University, Melbourne.
