Abhinav Motheram
Abhinav Motheram works as a Research Analyst at National Data Innovation Center, National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER). His current research interests lie at the intersection of data quality, processes of data generation, and related fields of survey methods applied across different domains of social sciences. Prior to joining NCAER, his work involved applied research broadly in the areas of macroeconomics, human capital formation, political economy, and psephology. He holds a Masters in Economics from BITS Pilani.

Delay in acceptance or refusal of vaccine against Covid-19 despite its availability, is a key hindrance in achieving optimal vaccination coverage among populations around the globe. Using data from a Facebook survey – conducted in partnership with University of Maryland and Carnegie Mellon – this article explores vaccine hesitancy in India, and trends across states and over time.
