Epica Mandal Sarkar
Epica Mandal Sarkar is a Research Consultant working with the materials group. She has completed M.E. in Chemical Engineering from Jadavpur University Kolkata, West Bengal, and her B.Tech, in Chemical Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology. Prior to joining CSTEP, Epica worked as Research fellow at Jadavpur University. Her areas of interest include renewable energy, material flow analysis, and process optimisation.

The Government of India is aiming to have only electric vehicles operating in the country by 2030. Despite the various policy initiatives that are being undertaken to make progress towards this ambitious target, the adoption of electric vehicles remains quite low.
