Isha Agarwal

Isha Agarwal is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Economics at Cornell University, supervised by Professor Eswar Prasad. Her research lies at the intersection of macroeconomics and finance and uses micro data to understand macro-financial linkages. In summer 2016, she interned with the International Monetary Fund, where she studied the role of banks in transmitting commodity price shocks to real activity in developing countries. She holds a master’s degree in economics from Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), where she was awarded the Chancellor’s gold medal for highest CGPA.
