Somdutta Basu

Somdutta Basu, is a Fellow at the Center for Economic Analysis at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), Washington D.C. Her research interest lies in the fields of reputation models, auditing, disclosure regulation, information transparency, and microfinance.

She earned her B.S. with Honors in Economics from Presidency College, University of Calcutta, India, and her M.S. in Quantitative Economics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from The Pennsylvania State University.
