Dr. Subhasis Mandal (PhD, Agricultural Economics), is currently working as Principal Scientist at the Division of Social Science Research, ICAR-Central Soil Salinity Research Institute in Karnal, Haryana. He has over 18 years of research experience in various capacities under multiple Indian Council of Agricultural Research institutes. His key role is to conduct socio-economic studies in the field of agricultural economics, with particular focus on natural resource management in farming systems covering crop, animal, fisheries and allied sectors. He has been involved in publishing research papers in national and internationally reputed peer reviewed journals, books, policy papers, technical reports and other publications.
