The idea behind this project is to undertake process-oriented investigations that will involve the study of interactions, especially between agricultural markets, settlements, technology, infrastructure, and regulations. The larger project aims to undertake a multi-level data organisation and mapping of the mandi (agricultural markets) system of India and the supply and value chains associated with it.
